HapWare Community Update

Hi everyone,

First off, we want to give a big thank you to everyone who stopped by the HapWare booth at the National Federation of the Blind National Convention and gave us one of the most meaningful weeks in HapWare's history. More than 150 people experienced ALEYE on their wrist, and many people decided to preorder.

But the biggest success was not the number of demos. It was what happened inside them. People felt a smile, a nod, a handshake, or someone walking away, then told us where those cues would matter in their own lives. In meetings. At school. Around the dinner table. While getting to know someone new.

That feedback is already shaping what we build next. ALEYE is being built with the blind, low vision, and DeafBlind communities, and NFB was a powerful reminder that the best product decisions happen when the people who will wear the technology help lead its development.
