HapWare at CSUN and New Product Updates
Build your own haptics, 100+ demos in 1 month, and still time to preorder
Hello!
The past few weeks have marked an exciting stretch for HapWare and a meaningful step forward for ALEYE.
We recently had the opportunity to showcase ALEYE at two important events: the 2026 NIB and NAEPB Conference in Washington, DC, hosted by National Industries for the Blind and the National Association for the Employment of People Who Are Blind, and the CSUN Assistive Technology Conference in Anaheim, California, one of the leading assistive technology conferences in the world.
At the NIB and NAEPB Conference, we had the chance to demo ALEYE and share our story with attendees, including the Employee of the Year cohort. It was an incredible opportunity to introduce our technology in a space centered on employment, independence, and opportunity for people who are blind or low vision. From there, we brought that same momentum to CSUN, where we exhibited for the first time and connected with an amazing community of innovators, advocates, organizations, and end users all working to expand accessibility through technology.
Across these events, the HapWare team conducted more than 100 demos, giving hundreds of people the opportunity to experience ALEYE firsthand. That kind of direct interaction is incredibly important to us. It helps validate the need for real-time access to nonverbal communication, gives us honest feedback from the community, and allows people to immediately understand the impact this technology can have in everyday social, educational, and professional settings. We were also excited to generate a strong wave of new preorders, which is another powerful signal that this problem is real and that people are looking for a solution like ALEYE.
One of the developments we are especially excited about is a new feature that will allow users to create and build their own custom haptic patterns on the wristband. This matters because accessibility is not one size fits all. Every user processes information differently, and giving people the ability to personalize how cues are communicated will make ALEYE even more intuitive, flexible, and tailored to individual preferences. It is an important step toward making the experience more user-driven and more empowering.
We are grateful to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, shared feedback, and supported our mission along the way.
If you want ALEYE, now is the time to take the next step. Preorder today to reserve your device and be part of the future of accessible nonverbal communication. We are planning to begin shipping by the end of the year, and early supporters will help shape what comes next for HapWare and receive a discounted price.
You can preorder ALEYE here and join us in building a more accessible future.
